Dr. Danielle Charpentier

Dr. Charpentier has been a hematologist and medical oncologist at University of Montreal Hospital Centre since 1990.
She received her medical education at University of Montreal earning her medical degree in 1981. Her training in hematology was completed in 1985. She completed her oncology training and fellowship at Princess Margaret Hospital and University of Toronto in 1988.

She has been the Chief of Hematology-Oncology Service since 2002 and the medical director of Integrated Oncology Centre of CHUM since 2006. She is also an assistant professor of medicine and a principal investigator for multiple Canadian clinical trials and has interest in patient education, quality of care and evolving therapies, mainly in breast cancer and head and neck cancer.
