A volunteer group
The McPeak • Sirois Group is a volunteer group of public clinical research hospitals, supported by a private contribution from the McPeak • Sirois family.
This unique initiative is made possible by the commitment and expertise of four major hospital research centres : the Jewish General Hospital (a member of the CIUSSS West-Central Montreal), the CHU de Québec – Université Laval, the McGill University Health Centre (MUHC), the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal (CHUM).
The four founding hospitals have decided to mobilize within a consortium and leverage their resources in the fight against breast cancer in Quebec.
Several associate members have joined the Group’s founding members: the CIUSSS-de-l’Est-de-L’Ile-de-Montréal Hôpital Maisonneuve-Rosemont in April 2017 as well as the CIUSSS de l’Estrie – Centre hospitalier universitaire de Sherbrooke in May 2018.
The McPeak • Sirois Group aims at improving care given to patients suffering from breast cancer through better access to clinical trials.
The core mission of the McPeak • Sirois Group is to promote research that cares.
