What is a registry ?

A cancer registry collects data on each person affected in a given population.

It is a resource for cancer research and for fostering collaboration between researchers by supporting future research projects in this field.

For patients, it is a way to contribute to the advancement of knowledge and possibly to the improvement of treatments.

Breast Cancer Registry

The McPeak-Sirois Group supports in Quebec the promotion of a pan-Canadian registry from our partner Breast Cancer Canada.

This registry is open to anyone diagnosed with breast cancer, regardless of the stage of the disease or moment of their journey.

From diagnosis to remission, this 10-year initiative aims to understand not only the effectiveness of treatment, but also the mental, emotional and physical impact of breast cancer on patients.
