The team at McPeak-Sirois Group is pleased to announce the launch of the website of the first Metastatic Breast Cancer Registry in Quebec. This website will allow researchers to make requests for data analysis as part of projects that will lead to a better understanding of the disease.
Launched in 2021 as a pilot project under the leadership of Dr. Sarkis Meterissian, surgical oncologist at the McGill University Health Centre with the MUHC, the Centre hospitalier de l’Université de Montréal and the CHU de Québec- Université Laval, this Registry will soon be extended to all member hospitals of the Group with the financial support of our lead partner, the Canadian Cancer Society.
As a reminder, it will essentially facilitate data collection and sharing in a way that has never been done before in Canada, which could improve the situation of people with breast cancer.
