Dominique Johnson

General manager

Dominique Johnson joined the McPeak-Sirois Group in March 2016 as General Manager; she brought her vast knowledge and experience in clinical research to rapidly develop and operationalize the Group’s activities. A graduate of the University of Montreal with a Ph.D. in Biomedical Sciences and a specialty in cardiovascular clinical research, Dominique has been involved in clinical research for almost 20 years both in private and public health organizations. She began her career in the pharmaceutical industry where she has significantly contributed to their cardiovascular clinical research program.

In 2000, Dominique co-founded the Montreal Health Innovations Coordinating Center (MHICC), a division of the Montreal Heart Institute, an academic research organization, and acted as its executive director for 16 years. She was responsible for its establishment, development and growth and under her leadership, the MHICC gained an international reputation. She established a successful business model that supports both academic clinical research and contract research with the biopharmaceutical industry, as demonstrated by the presentation of the 2012 Innovation Award to MHICC by the Armand-Frappier Foundation.

Dominique has sat on Steering and Operations Committees of several large international phase III multi-center cardiovascular clinical trials. She developed many partnerships within the clinical research community, including the biopharmaceutical industry, clinical research organizations, investigators and healthcare institutions. Dominique has authored more than 40 publications in journals including the Journal of the American College of Cardiology, the American Heart Journal and Atherosclerosis.

Nathalie Bolduc

Project Manager Operations

Nathalie Bolduc joined the McPeak-Sirois Group in August 2022 as Project Manager – Operations. A graduate of McGill University with a master’s degree in genetic counseling, Nathalie has more than 25 years of experience in the public and private health sectors where she has acquired a unique combination of clinical expertise.   She managed an outreach clinical research program for families affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancers at the Centre hospitalier de l’université Laval Research Centre and later joined the McGill University Health Centre where she worked in various specialties, including prenatal diagnosis, assisted reproductive technology as well as pediatric and adult general genetics.

Nathalie revamped and led a provincial predictive testing program for Huntington’s disease for 7 years and collaborated with a First Nations community to develop educational videos for this condition. In 2015, she went to the private sector where she gained experience in business development and in the implementation of innovative clinical genetics services. She also worked with non-profit organizations, including the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation, to create educational resources for hereditary diseases.

Nathalie was President of the Quebec Association of Genetic Counsellors and President of the Canadian Association of Genetic Counsellors. An excellent communicator, she has given lectures and conferences for different audiences as well as interviews through various media.

Nathalie Laplante

Operational Strategy Advisor

Nathalie Laplante joined the McPeak-Sirois Group in January 2018 as Coordinator of the Programme Accès-recherche. After having contributed for more than four years to the significant expansion of the members of the consortium, Nathalie now holds the role of Operational Strategy Advisor for the Group.

Nathalie obtained her Ph.D. in clinical psychology and psychopathology from Université Paris-8 (France).  She has over 20 years of experience in setting up and managing clinical trials, including industry-sponsored international phase III trials. She was also responsible for the creation and management of biobanks for scientific and medical research.

Claude Nadon


Project Manager for the
Quebec Metastatic Breast Cancer Registry

Claude Nadon joined the McPeak-Sirois Group in February 2020 as Project Manager for the Quebec Metastatic Breast Cancer Registry.

Claude has held senior management positions at IST, MédiSolution, SIDOCI, Centre de recherche informatique de Montréal (CRIM), TELUS business solutions, xwave (DSQ). He founded AQGI Conseils Inc. and has executed various mandates, including several at the Montreal Heart Institute Research Centre.

Claude has more than thirty years of experience in health informatics, including ten years in computer science in support of research.

Marine Baillie


Communications Advisor

Marine Baillie joined the McPeak-Sirois Group when it was launched in October 2015, initially as Development Advisor. Marine graduated from the University of Toulouse 1 in France with a master’s degree in communication and has nearly 15 years of experience in managing communication mandates for innovative companies in various sectors.

Marine has lent her expertise as Director of Communications to several non-profit organizations, including the QG100 Network and Enablis Entrepreneurial Network.

Marine is working to highlight the achievements and progress of the McPeak-Sirois Group, as well as develop optimal communication with its member hospitals.
She contributes to the reputation of the consortium and of its mission, which is particularly dear to her heart.
